Aconitum heterophyllum

- Botanical Name: Aconitum heterophyllum
- Local Name: Pattish or Attis
- Found between 2500m and 3900m in moist places near border of forests
- The root is a stimulant to the digestive system. Works well in digestive disorders like anorexia, dyspepsia, piles, diarrhoea, worms and vomiting. Helps to revitalise sexual desire. Reduces obesity. Mitigates breast milk in lactating mothers.
- Before using the root it should be purified by being kept in cow's urine for one night. It should then be dried in sunlight and ground into powder.
